YoSHi (Blockshade) Completed on May 31, 1998 Here's the filled-in version. I made a photoshop rendering of it a while later, but I don't think I ever uploaded it to the site. At this point I was getting more comfortable with pencil shading, and more specifically, the way things overlap eachother. From here on out, I decided to put legibility on the back-burner, and try to see how many different ways I could twist lettering in and out of itself. It would be good practice, even though I doubt anyone but me could really make heads or tails of some of the stuff I created around this time. But nevertheless, it gave me a good foundation in that style, since I still utilize it to an extent in my works today.
