CHRONOLOGIE Completed on September 26, 1998 By this time we had reached Japan, and I was starting to fill up a new notebook that my mother had bought me during the past summer. During this time I was a big fan of Jean Michel Jarre's music, and I drew this for his Chronologie IV track. At this point I could see my style starting to change noticeably, taking on more of a flowing look with the contours within the objects themselves rather than as parts of a whole. I was unsure where this new style would take me (I feared it would dwindle itself down into stagnancy, as I had encountered before), but regardless, I was glad that it was flowing from me freely. I felt confident that going with feelings instead of thoughts would lead me somewhere, so I kept at it and dove into a period where I would draw many pictures in the next month or two.
