Gathering / Tori Completed on August 12, 1999 I was asked to do a logo for the Gathering demoscene competition in Norway, and came up with this. It's a 100% rip of the style used in the boxart for the Japanese SNES game "Solstice II". I thought it turned out pretty good, although if I could have done it again I would have made it a bit easier to read. By the way, that game, Solstice II, has a really great score, if you're into ambient and minimalist types of music. I regard some of it as right up there with Brian Eno and Harold Budd and all those dudes.
