KRAD Completed on May 15, 1999 This has gotta be the biggest project I ever did that turned out so underrated when it was finally completed. I swear, I must have made fifty different circles for this thing, keeping it perfectly symmetrical while trying to stay true to the original's contours. As a final touch, I used a new style of edges - a metallic look that I'd seen in a Star Wars ad. I got done with it, sat back and looked at it, and wondered why it just didn't do it for me. I didn't want to really put any crazy effects on it since its form is its allure, so I simply abandoned it. Such a shame, too - I really was pround of this when I originally drew it, and wanted to be equally proud when I photoshopped it (it was one of the main reasons I got into computer art - to convert this into computer graphics). But hey, that's life, I suppose.
