All while I was in Japan I told myself that I really ought to try getting into gomputer graphics as soon as I got back onto my computer in the states, since so much of my stuff seemed to lend itself to the sort of touchups which computer graphics offer. Here is one of my first tries - it's a simple photoshop bevel over a pencil image for one of my zen writings. I was just playing around with the different filters and suddenly I was saying to myself 'whoa, this bevel thing is pretty cool'. In retrospect it looks okay now, but to a novice like myself in those days, it was enough to keep my blooming interest in photoshop piqued.
