This image represents the start of me doubling back on my original style - saying to myself 'okay, I might want to not go as far as I can with things... maybe I should look at what some other guys are doing and try some of that'. So here it is; this has the arrow shapes you'll find in a lot of different grafitti art.

I made it for a very good friend of mine, Jesse. He always seemed to be his best when other guys were at their worst. He's religious, and I kind of saw that as a crutch up until that point. But then as I realized that it could help a person be good when others gave up, I realized religon serves a good purpose.

And I thanked him dearly for being there for me by giving him no less than by best effort on this. I cleaned up the outline and textured it with fine detail (it took forever) but the result was pretty cool looking.

Later on, I scanned the image and photoshopped it, but I was unable how to figure out how to texture it the way I had done with pencil, which makes me favor this original over the update.
