Leanna's Present Completed on August 22, 1999 I drew this for an old friend of mine, Leanna. She's a very special person in my life - the first person I ever came out to. I printed this out at Kinko's and gave it to her in return for letting me stay with her for a time. The original was very small; inadequate for large-scale printing. So when I decided to blow my best works up and frame them, I tried to redraw this one. However, I could never get it to look quite like this. I wish I remembered what I did to make those golds stand out just the way they do here, but I suppose it's fitting that the original is unique like this.
