ganba tattoo Completed on July 22, 2000 A lo-color tatoo design I made for my old friend keef. He told me he wanted a tattoo of an asian symbol meaning 'persistence', and after a bit of consideration, I came to the Jpaanese 'Ganbaru' kanji. I modeled the design after the Arcade Strider titlescreen's kanji, and then combined it with a red swirl. However, keef later told me it wouldn't work as a tattoo; the tattoo guy apparently told him a design like this would just smudge in time. Bah.
