bike Completed on May 20, 1999 The twentieth of May was my first anniversary (or 'birthday') of breaking into the drawing world. I told myself I wanted to draw something really good when the day came, and I felt pretty good about what I came up with. This is another bike image, and it's unquestionably my favorite of any I've drawn. I took inspiration from a Razor 1911 logo I'd seen recently, one that had a dark, razor-sharp feel to it. It was only then that I realized I 'd been wanting to find an image that summed up the totality of what I was feeling at this point, and this image was it. I stopped drawing bike images after this one and told myself that if I indeed managed to break free and travel the world on this bike of mine, that I would commemorate the event by tattooing this design across my back.
