Kinkaku Ji Completed on October 17, 1998 Ah, the ever-present photo of Kinkaku Ji, visitied by every Japanese tour bus in the history of man. I'm the one in the lower right corner with the green shirt. I still have that shirt - it's one of the few garments I actually didn't sell at the end of my stay in Japan (I sacraficed most of my luggage room for all the games I'd bought).
