Collecting 100 rings in the Cannon's Core is difficult because of the enemy's attacks. The best way to collect rings is in the stages for Rouge and Knuckles. With Rouge, you collect 32 rings just after starting the game and with Knuckles, collect 73 rings in the first vertical tunnel.
